What Is Latex Foam Mattress?
There are generally two kinds of latex foam mattresses on market: 1. All-latex-foam mattresses; 2. Mattresses with natural latex components in them, like natural latex foam comfort layers. Some mattress manufacturers buy latex foam layers from us to produce mattresses in their factories. We can help to cut or glue latex layers per customer's requests. We also supply latex foam toppers to brand owners or retailers with services like offering custom cover fabrics.

Latex foam used in mattresses are generally a blend of natural latex and synthetic latex. Latex foam for mattresses has different formulas. Some have a higher natural latex content than synthetic latex. Some are opposite. However, "100% natural latex foam mattress" is misleading.
Common latex content formulas we supply for latex foam layers or rolls.
We can customize latex content formula for bulk buyers of latex foam sheets or latex rolls.
Such as:
20% natural latex + 80% synthetic latex;
80% natural latex + 20% synthetic latex;
50% natural latex + 50% synthetic latex;
100% synthetic latex, etc.
How Long Do Natural Latex Foam Mattresses Need To Be Left To Off-Gas Before Sleeping On Them?
Natural latex foam mattresses are usually vacuum packed in a plastic bag to save shipping space and cost. When unpacked, there is somewhat a little latex odor. Leave the latex mattress in a spare room to off-gas for several days. Keep the room in good ventilation. The smell will disappear very soon.
How Often To Rotate A Natural Latex Mattress?
To keep the resilience of natural latex mattresses of its best excellence, we suggest rotate latex mattresses of toppers at least every 6 months, especially for mattresses thicker than 10 cm. Latex foam mattresses are of better resilience and longer durability than memory foam and high density foam. Rotating can let the plush natural latex foam bedding in good maintenance.
How To Clean Latex Mattress Toppers?
Our advice is: NOT to clean the core of latex mattresses or toppers.
Use a mattress protector or waterproof cover to keep the mattress clean and protected. Only clean the removable latex mattress covers. Never machine clean latex foam products.
The latex foam core can eventually turn yellow. That is unavoidable, because of oxidation, not unclean. However, if you get dusts or stains on latex cores, try to use mild dry clean spray to remove the dirt instead of wash the latex core in water. Without squeezing machine, it is hard to dry the latex cores at home. Latex foam absorbs water very well. And it becomes extremely heavy and easy to get torn when you try to squeeze water out of it.
