Latex foam is made of a mixture of natural latex and synthetic latex. Natural latex is a milky liquid tapped from rubber trees. Latex foam factories in China produce latex foam in different content formulas. If you want to purchase natural latex foam, the content of natural latex has to be higher than 80%.

Latex foam is produced using either Talalay process or the Dunlop process. Talalay latex and Dunlop latex offer different feel. While the Dunlop process produces a denser foam which is generally firmer. The Talalay process produces a lighter one that has more air in it, so Talalay latex is softer. Talalay latex foam is more expensive as its production is more resource intensive.
Latex foam layers are manufactured on continuous plate production line. The finished latex foam layers can be cut to sheets in any sizes. Talalay latex foam is produced in sealed models which have a certain thickness, for example: 10cm. We can cut the foam to thinner layers like 2.5cm, 5cm, 7.5cm, etc.
We can glue latex foam layers to make thicker mattresses. For example: gluing 4 pieces of 5cm layers to make a 20cm mattress. There are some very big bed sizes like Cal King. We will glue 2 split latex foam layers together to make a mattress. Gluing can last for up to 20 years. It won't tear or break. The glue is non-toxic.

Can Latex Foam Mattresses Be Recycled?
An all-natural latex mattress has a lot of great benefits: hypoallergenic, antimicrobial, and dust mite-free. Since an all-natural latex mattress is completely botanical and made from the sap of a rubber tree, it is completely recyclable. Rebonded latex foam can be used as carpet underlay foam or cow mattresses. Aside from the good quality and comfort of a natural latex mattress, it also has the unique ability to be completely recycled. Natural latex mattresses are a great green alternative to other mattresses.
